Preparation time: 5 MINS

Cook time: 20 MINS

You will need a BBQ and a skillet

Heat the bbq to medium-high. Season the wings with Salt & Pepper.

Grill the wings, covered, turning occasionally, until they are golden brown, crispy and completely cooked through, about 20 minutes. Keep a close eye on the BBQ: if there are flare-ups or the wings begin to burn, move the wings to a cooler part of the BBQ or reduce the heat.

Just before the wings are cooked, make the sauce. Combine the butter and garlic in a skillet and place on the BBQ. Cook for about one minute until the butter is melted. Stir in the hot sauce, salt, onion powder, chili powder and sugar.

Dip the cooked wings in the sauce and serve immediately.

1kg chicken wings

1½ tsp salt

1½ tsp black pepper

For the sauce

60g Dromona butter

1 clove garlic, minced

100ml Frank’s Red Hot Original

½ tsp salt

½ tsp onion powder

½ tsp chilli powder
