With a relatively flat milk profile we produce our main products 12 months of the year guaranteeing year round supply.
All dairy products we produce are Red Tractor approved.
We ship chilled & dry freight worldwide with our dedicated logistics team based in our Belfast head office.
Our solar farm covers 37 acres with 15,000 solar panels connected directly to our network.
Due to Northern Ireland remaining part of the EU customs union Dale Farm can still easily manage the distribution of product throughout Europe.
Dale Farm operates one of the largest cheddar manufacturing sites in the UK. We specialise in cheddar of all ages from functional curd/young cheese for the fast food/ready meal industry, right through to mature & vintage cheese which our expert, highly skilled graders select based on functional requirement and flavour profiles.
Cheddar Cheese
Dale Farm is a leading whey protein producer and supply partner to several global food & nutrition brands. We provide ingredient solutions across many applications such as infant milk formula, yogurt, ice cream and sports nutrition. Our whey is considered world class, not only is it one of the select few single source whey plants with a vertically integrated supply chain, it is also superior in terms of its amino acid profile and functionality performance.
Protein expertise
Our grass-fed cows produce a quality milk to create a range of products with a creamery taste & functionality. We offer 4 types of butter - salted, unsalted, unsalted lactic and salted lactic. These can be further processed into a various butter products and tailored to meet requirements such as garlic or half fat butter. A wide range of cream and vegetable oil-based blends are produced for dairy fat substitution or formula re-engineering.
Fats
Bulk liquids are produced at our own processing sites across the group and include buttermilk, concentrated whey, concentrated skimmed milk, concentrated whole milk, and cream. These can be delivered in various bulk packs from 500 kg pallecons with a replaceable inner liner to 28,000 kg tankers.
Liquids
Dale Farm offers a wide range of powders marketed under the Gold Star brand and can be designed to meet customers' functionality requirements. A range of variables can be tailored to include fat level, vitamin enrichment, heat treatment and heat stability. Our clients include confectionery, sports nutrition, ice cream, ready-meal and cheese processing industries.

What is the Minimum Order Quantity?
This depends on product and location. We can ship from a min of 1 pallet or 1 x 40’ container.
Can you still ship to Europe?
Yes, as Northern Ireland is still part of the EU Customs Union we can still ship hassle-free to the EU.
What if I need export documentation?
Dale Farm has a dedicated logistics team which deals directly with our veterinary services and can assist with all the appropriate paperwork regardless of your location.
