This double chocolate cake is the perfect four layers of chocolate indulgence smothered in salted caramel buttercream. Be sure to grab a slice as we predict it will be gone in seconds! Thanks Hama @indianblondee
1. Whisk the sugar, vanilla essence and eggs until the mixture is light and fluffy.
2. Sift in the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder and salt and mix.
3. Add in the milk, Dromona butter and water and mix well.
4. Pour into the greased baking tins. Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C.
5. When done leave to cool, then cut each sponge in half to create 4 layers.
6. Assemble the sponges with a layer of salted caramel frosting in between the layers. Cover the top of the cake with the frosting as you like, enjoy!
