Darragh's Double Chocolate Dromona Cookies

Preparation time: 40 minutes

Cook time: 12 - 14 minutes

Oh-so-soft and chewy cookies with plenty of chocolate in each bite. Super easy to make and versatile to make them just the way you like.

1) Preheat your oven to 180°C

2) Add butter and both sugars to a bowl and beat till creamy.

3) Add the egg and vanilla and beat again.

4) Add in the plain flour, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda, and salt and beat till a cookie dough is formed.

5) Add in your chocolate chips and beat till they’re distributed well.

6) Weigh your cookies out into eight cookie dough balls – they’re about 110-120g each.

7) Once they’re rolled into balls, put your cookie dough in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.

8) Take cookies out of the freezer and put onto a lined baking tray. (3/4 cookies per tray)

9) Bake the cookies in the oven for 12-14 minutes.

10) Once baked, leave them to cool on the tray.

125g Dromona Butter

100g Light brown sugar

75g Caster sugar

1 Egg

1 tsp Vanilla essence

300g Plain flour

1.5 tsp Baking powder

1/2 tsp Bicarbonate of soda

1/2 tsp Sea salt

300 g Chocolate chips (150g Milk ,150g White)
