Determined Optimism at Core of Dale Farm AGM as Dairy Cooperative Looks to Future

Dale Farm held its Annual General Meeting on 25th November at the Hilton, Templepatrick.

Farmer members from the dairy cooperative were addressed by its leadership team, who recapped on developments and successes from the last financial year as well as outlining plans for future growth.

Key topics discussed amongst attendees included the challenges facing the dairy sector today - from environmental sustainability, to cost inflation at farm level.

Speaking at the event, Dale Farm Group Chief Executive Nick Whelan said:

"The past year was not without significant challenge, with a pandemic, major political developments and ongoing cost pressures being felt throughout the food chain.

"Despite these headwinds, Dale Farm had a solid year thanks to the dedication and skill of our people. This was the year we rebranded Dale Farm and secured significant supply contracts. We face the year ahead with a sense of optimism and determination to best support our farmers and further grow our business. We thank all our members for their ongoing hard work and commitment to the cooperative."
