Did you enjoy science at school?
Yes, I especially enjoyed Biology it was so interesting learning how life works and is such a wide ranging subject.
What encouraged you to pursue a career in food and science?
I chose Food Science as a more vocational course, rather than straight Biology, it also fitted in with my love of Food, Health & Well Being.
In your career so far what has been your ‘Eureka’ moment?
I think it has been how much science is involved in every food category I have worked in, and how relevant it is to understand this science during processing to ensure the same quality is achieved for every single product produced!
