Did you enjoy science at school?
Yes, and I owe it all to my science teachers for making the subject interesting and applied to real life situations.
What encouraged you to pursue a career in food and science?
I have always had a genuine interest in anything food related, whether that was growing and cooking. So, this, combined with my interest in science was a natural career path for me.
In your career so far what has been your ‘Eureka’ moment?
It’s how the application of science principles can be so wide ranging in our day-to-day activities for development, manufacture, problem solving and compliance in the industry.
