Did you enjoy science at school?
Yes I enjoyed science at school so much so I chose biology, chemistry and maths for my A Levels.
What encouraged you to pursue a career in food and science?
I grew up on a dairy farm and have always had an interest in the science behind how food is produced and then utilised in the body, so the food industry seemed like the perfect opportunity to pursue my interests.
In your career so far what has been your ‘Eureka’ moment?
My eureka moment was seeing the first product concept I worked on come to life in the factory and seeing someone pick it up in store.
