Every day is different as every farm is different.
What does a day in your role look like?
My role consists of overseeing and managing the Farm Liaison team. We are a very close team but mainly work remotely, visiting Dale Farm producers daily. Every day is different as every farm is different. My main role is to liaison with all farmers in their day-to-day running of their business to ensure the highest quality milk is supplied to the cooperative.
How did you get to where you are today?
I started working for a poultry company when I came out of university. From working with dairy and beef cattle all my life at home, when the opportunity came to join Dale Farm I jumped at it. Thankfully I was successful and have been part of Dale Farm family since July 2018.
What do you enjoy the most about your role and working at Dale Farm?
I am passionate about agriculture in general and thoroughly enjoy getting the privilege to work in this space. I find having the daily opportunity to help local farmers across Northern Ireland in any way possible rewarding and fulfilling. The Farm Liaison team are a fantastic group of people and it’s a great pleasure to help lead it.
