Eva Wilkinson

International Logistics Manager

What makes it all work is the team. We have a great mix of skills and personalities, and we’ve built a culture where we support each other.

What does a day in your role look like?

I lead our international logistics operations, overseeing the global shipment of bulk cheese and butter to clients across the UK, EU, and beyond. My team handles everything from transport scheduling to generating the full suite of shipping documentation - every shipment demands precision, planning, and seamless execution.

Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I work cross-functionally with our commercial teams, production sites, and logistics partners to ensure every contract is fulfilled to specification.

It’s a busy role with plenty of moving parts — there’s always something new to tackle, which keeps things interesting! What makes it all work is the team. We have a great mix of skills and personalities, and we’ve built a culture where we support each other and keep things upbeat — even when the pressure is on!

How did you get to where you are today?

After finishing my BA in History and English Literature at Ulster University, I spent a few years working in tourism; including time as a tour guide, which was a lot of fun and gave me some great stories. I pivoted in 2004 and began my journey into international trade and logistics, with roles in the tyre and oil drilling industries. I then joined Dale Farm in 2011 as an Export Coordinator. This was meant to be a short-term temporary role, however the position became permanent, and I’ve never looked back! Fast forward nearly 15 years, and I’m now leading the Dale Farm Ingredients Logistics Team, a role I’ve held for the past six years.

What do you enjoy the most about your role and working at Dale Farm?

What I enjoy most about my role is the variety. There’s always something different to deal with, and it keeps things interesting. It can be challenging, but I like getting stuck into tricky situations and finding the best way to make something work. There’s a real sense of satisfaction when everything comes together, especially when it’s taken a bit of problem-solving to get there.
